Rejected Track

Why your track was rejected and what you can do now.

Updated over a year ago

If your track was rejected, it was because we believe that there are certain elements of the track that don't fit with what we're looking for at Deep Sounds. Rejections are categorized as the following:

Soft Rejection

There was a small issue with your track that we think can be easily fixed. After you submit the revised track that addressed the issue, we will approve it.

  • Technical - Incorrect audio bitrate or sample rate

  • Arrangement - Mix, master, extended silence error

Hard Rejection

Your track was rejected due to multiple small or large issues that we believe can't be easily fixed within one revision.

Music is an entirely subjective experience, and your track's rejection was entirely based on our opinion. It it no way objectively means that your music is bad or can't be successful elsewhere. Keep creating, and we look forward to hearing the next track you submit to us.

  • Lyrics - Your track contains lyrics that we deemed unfit (e.g. hate speech)

  • Curation - Your track doesn't fit the direction we'd like Deep Sounds to go

  • Exclusivity - We found your track in another music library, which violates our terms
